COMMUNITY ACTION TEAM (CAT)

Community Action Team (CAT)

Welcome to the Covenant Worship Center Community Action Team. This array of ministries was inspired by Christ’s words in St. Matthew 25:40, “Inasmuch as you have done unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me.”

It is our goal as a community based church to impact our neighbors with love. Therefore our hands must touch the very heart of our community. You are an integral part of making this vision a reality.

Would you like to help make a difference? We need people like you to donate time, energy and experience in a variety of areas. You are asked to represent Covenant Worship Center as an ambassador of good works. Some will work in Feeding Ministries and Health Care services; yet, others will keep the ministry involved in Civic Affairs and Education. Your contribution of time and talent will be rewarding to you and a blessing to our community friends. We will win the world for Christ, one heart at a time. Covenant Worship Center is committed to this great commission.

As CAT members I ask 3 things:
• First, PRAY and ask Jesus where He wants you to work.
• Second, Commit to your ministry area of service for at least a six month time period.
• Third, Represent CWC to the community with Christ’s love and compassion.

Finally, below is an informational CAT Catalog with descriptions of the various service areas. Please read thoroughly, then fill-out and return the ministry worksheet to the CAT Staff. You will be contacted shortly thereafter for ministry trainings and meeting dates.

Thank you for your service to our community and the Body of Christ.

In His Service,
District Elder K.R. Woods
Pastor, Covenant Worship Center
